Katowice Airport Builds Car Park P5
Construction of a new car park at Katowice Airport (designation "P5") is underway. As part of the first stage of the investment, the airport will gain 900 new parking spaces for cars in the south-eastern part of the airport. SILESIA INVEST Sp. z o.o. and Szmitka Kamiński Sp. k. are the main contractors. The investment is worth PLN 10.5M net.
Car Park P5 will be fully illuminated and equipped with an advanced parking system. The Upper Silesian Aviation Group (GTL SA) will provide free tranfer between the new car park and passenger terminals.
The first stage of the construction of Car Park P5 is scheduled to concluded in the second quarter of 2025. During "Summer 2025" Katowice Airport will offer approx. 6,700 parking spaces.
